Tuition and Program Fees

Learn more

Tuition is non-refundable. If a student withdraws from school prior to the beginning of the school year, two months of tuition is non-refundable. If a student withdraws from school once classes have started, tuition up to and including the quarter in which the student withdraws is non-refundable.

Tuition payments may be made over a 12-month payment period, a 2 payment plan or 1 time payment plan. All payments begin in May 2023 and end April 2024 for the 2023-2024 school year. There will be a $30.00 fee assessed for Non-Sufficient Funds payable to FACTS.

Every family must enroll in the FACTS Tuition Management Program and establish a payment method. See the FACTS sheet for instructions.

Affordable for Every Family

LEarn More

All families must first apply for either the Florida Tax Credit Scholarship or the Family Empowerment Scholarship for Educational Options before being considered for additional grants. For families who still have a demonstrated financial need, you may request additional information about other grant or scholarship options.

The VPK portion of the tuition is not determined by Escambia County until June. Families must start making payments in May – the payment amount will be adjusted once the subsidy has been determined.

At Sacred Heart, we live as disciples of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, striving for academic excellence and humble service to all. Founded in 1906, we are rooted in our Catholic identity, and flourishing in East Hill.

Through the diligence of our Parent-Teacher Organization, we strive to keep our tuition costs affordable for every family seeking Catholic education for their children. Beyond that, discounts and subsidies are available for those who qualify.

Please contact us to discuss your particular situation, and we look forward to welcoming you into the Sacred Heart Cathedral School family.

FAQ

Questions & Answers

Do you offer before and after school care?

Students may be dropped off in the morning as early as 7:00am (no additional fee) and will meet in the gym until 7:30am when they will go to their homeroom classroom.

The Extended Care Program is available until 5:30pm.

How do parents get involved?

Volunteers are an integral part of the success of our school, both through events and activities. The Diocese of Pensacola-Tallahassee requires that all volunteers, chaperones and fieldtrip drivers complete a Level-2 background clearance. The cost is $65 and the packets are available in the school office.

Is bus service available?

We do not own nor operate any sort of transportation service. You may request a zip code list mid-summer to check on creating a carpool.

Does Sacred Heart have a hot lunch program?

While the majority of students bring their own lunch, families may order lunch in advance through the online lunch program Campus Cuisine.

What are the school hours?

Monday-Friday 7:45am – 2:45pm.
