Recently, one of our alumni – Jared – came back to lead our 6th grade science students in a squid dissection lab! So much fun for our students to experience the reality that they too can become scientists!

We encourage all our families and businesses who donate to allow us to publicly celebrate your investment in our school.
Donors and sponsors will be automatically publicly recognized for their investment in our school unless a specific request is made to remain anonymous or opt out of public recognition. Not only do we want to thank you for your support and partnership in this incredible mission that we share, but your gift can also inspire participation from others throughout our community! Thank you!
We may ask to publish your name or company logo as part of marketing publications, school communications, at school events, or in our social media efforts.
Local Businesses should absolutely consider a donation to support students and scholarship at Sacred Heart Cathedral School through our “Partners in Education” fund. We take time all year to celebrate and highlight the great work you do in our community, and you can feel good about investing in our great school. Your donations will visibly support student life, scholarships, special programming, campus projects, and service learning throughout the year.
We will not hold back from taking any available opportunities to celebrate your philanthropic support at our events and on our communication channels, so you can build good will in the community and know that your donation is helping with marketing of your business as well.
Additionally, we are asking all our school families to consider a personal gift to support our students and programs here at SHCS over and above what is already part of your tuition payment. We all have a profound responsibility to support our school and invest in the education and experiences for our students. Families and individuals who make a commitment to our annual fund will be included in our public recognition opportunities.
Every gift is an investment in our children and school community.
Business sponsorships and individual donations towards the Annual Fund are designated towards short term and long term expenses to support the five main areas of school life listed earlier.
Funds received in excess of any fundraising expenses in a given fiscal year are invested in the school's endowment and/or savings accounts for long-term strengthening of these areas and projects.
With any funds received, the intention of the administration is to balance current needs with planning for the future.
The Annual Fund is an annual fund with the intended purpose of supporting the general operations of Sacred Heart Cathedral School in the areas of scholarships, extra-curricular programming, campus development, academics, and athletics.
Existing fundraisers, if not designated towards specific projects or restricted causes will be automatically designated towards the Annual Fund. The fund can support the unrestricted bottom-line operations of the school and/or be invested long term as savings for future expenses in these areas.
Named or restricted endowments require a $50,000 minimum commitment.

The easiest way to make a lasting impact with your donation is setting up an automatic monthly, quarterly, or annual gift through our online donation system. You can even cover the credit card or ACH fees to ensure your gift makes the biggest impact for our students and programs.
Of course, we also welcome checks and cash payments sent in through our school office – just simply indicate in the memo or accompanying letter that the gift is intended for our annual fund or a particular fundraiser.
